Save Cash With At Home Teeth Whitening Tips

By Steve Lane · Comments (0)
Whitening your teeth professionally can appear to be a frightening experience as you never really know how much pain you can experience, or even what your results will be. Sometimes it is just less complicated on your mouth and wallet to pick up a tooth whitening system that you can do from home. These are some great and simple at home tooth bleaching tips which will give you a blinding grin without all of the worry.

A straightforward way to keep your teeth as clean as possible is to stick by the old standard of flossing and cleaning well after every meal. Another good way to keep your teeth feeling clean is to drink masses of water, and eat fresh vegetables and fruit on a regular basis. The act of chewing on fiber helps to keep your teeth clean.

Try an old fashioned tooth bleaching home cure by mixing a bit of baking soda with a tiny hydrogen peroxide. Make a paste of it, dip your toothbrush and brush way. The peroxide will whiten your teeth, and the baking soda is a natural cleanser that will help to make your smile flicker. You’ll only want to do that every few weeks, and use it the same way that you would use toothpaste. Be sure to spit out the formula as you brush. Be careful with this mix, and if you experience any gum irritation, cut back the frequency of this process.

Another one of my fave at home tooth lightening tips is to pour a few big spoons of additional virgin olive oil onto a clean white facecloth and rub gently across your teeth. This works rather well, and you will be stunned with the result. You may try mixing small quantities of baking soda, salt, and white vinegar together to lighten the tooth. Use this solution as you would toothpaste.

You may try one of the many tooth whitening kits on the market. Bleaching toothpaste works rather well, and so do the tooth bleaching strips. Pricing is reasonable for these products, and they are easily accessed at your local supermarket. There also are free trial teeth whitening kits available on the net, and on TV infomercials. These are also convenient paths to begin to bleach your teeth at home.

Ultimately, when you wish to try tooth lightening, you may want to keep them that way by not smoking, or drinking coffee, or some sodas. After all , if you’d like to boost the look of your smile, you will want to keep it that way.

Cosmetic Dentistry Can Have A Big Impact On Your Face

By Steve Lane · Comments (0)

Beautiful smiles do not come by accident, but they do come with regular visits to the dentist, monthly cleansing, oral and dental hygiene habits, such as regular flossing and proper nutrition. Sometimes, when there is a problem with a stained tooth, or they have a dull look, an appointment with a cosmetic dentist is warranted. These type of dental specialists will correct problems that prohibit a beautiful smile. This in turn will restore that pearly white, radiant smile everyone deserves.

One very popular procedure a cosmetic dentist will perform is tooth whitening. When teeth become stained by every day items such as coffee, tea, nicotine and wine, they become unsightly, and then it is difficult to remove the stains even with tooth brushing. This is why having them professionally bleached, eliminates the problem and will last for at least a month or more.

Another procedure or treatment is dental implants. This procedure permanently affixes new teeth to replace the former teeth, especially if there has been tooth loss. When teeth are missing on one side of the mouth, the face appears not only more collapsed on that side, but there may be a lopsided look to the face. Implanting teeth in that location, will even out the face giving a more youthful and attractive appearance.

These treatments are usually undertaken with short office visits and literally no down time so, with almost all treatments performed by a cosmetic dentist, the patient may return directly to work to finish out the day if desired.

Some of the treatments and procedures performed by a cosmetic dentist are composite bonding which helps build up teeth which have become cracked, broken, or a cavity has caused loss of the tooth enamel. This greatly improves the appearance of the patient and seals off the teeth prohibiting any more decay or damage.

There are many personal reasons for seeing a cosmetic dentist, but with his skill and compassion, nobody will ever know a procedure has been done. The appearance achieved restores a beautiful, radiant, smile and the self confidence that goes with it. If a payment plan is needed, many dental offices have a plan to fit everyones needs.

Teeth Whitening Usage And Routine

By Steve Lane · Comments (0)

Due to the regular stress, which we put one our teeth; the enamel slowly wears away, becoming more translucent. This permits the yellow color of dentin to show through, giving your teeth that dingy, unappealing look. Over the years, many micro cracks happen in the teeth. These cracks easily get filled up with excess debris, allowing stains to form and potentially causing cavities.

Proper teeth whitening techniques are required to remove this plague build-up and the stains associated with the wear-and-tear of your daily eating routine.

Again, it’s suggested to use this regimen once after breakfast, before you start your day and once after dinner, before you go to sleep. This will take about 30-40 extra minutes a day, so allow a little bit of time to adjust. Once you’re in the routine, it’ll be a piece of cake and the results will come quickly.

1. Start using a home teeth whitening kit, for the suggested time, which is usually 5-10 minutes. We prefer using this first, so you can brush off the excess whitener that is left on your teeth and gums. (We’ll go into more detail later, including a full review about which whitening product we highly recommend, so stay tuned)

2. Next, use an electric tooth brush, to generously clean all of your teeth. This includes the front, underside and back. Don’t forget to give your tongue a good scrubbing, too.

3. Grab a flossing tool (which is easier to manage than actual floss) and take some time to clean in-between each of your teeth. This is a target area for cavities to begin, since food and grime tends to build up easily in there, also causing stains in-between your teeth.

4. As a final step, rinse with a mouth wash product to help protect and keep your teeth clean until the next time you brush. This also gives you extra mint, fresh breath, which is always a plus.
